Bioprocess design and optimisation for the production of recombinant proteins - Concepts, tools, methods and current challenges

The 3rd ESSIB took place 5. - 9. September 2016 at the Autonomous University of Barcelona with the topic "Bioprocess design and optimisation for the production of recombinant proteins - Concepts, tools, methods and current challenges". The summer school consisted of theory talks by 6 lecturers from Barcelona and 5 lecturers from Austria, France, Germany and USA, 2 practical afternoon courses offered by the local organizers, and an excursion to the Laboratories HIPRA SA. 27 master students, PhD students, postdocs and researchers from 10 European countries and Brazil participated in the course.
